Women in the Boardroom Inauguration Ceremony

On October 14th, 2023, we hosted the ceremony for the first cohort of our Women in the Boardroom Leadership Program in collaboration with the Institute of Directors Zambia. WFL has partnered with the Institute of Directors Zambia (IoDZ) to provide training to women in corporate governance principles and best practices, certifying participants upon completion. The program is ongoing for a period of six (6) months. Over 100 female leaders applied to participate in the program, and 45 participants were selected for the inaugural cohort. The high demand underscores the strong interest among women in enhancing their governance skills to become effective leaders in the boardroom and beyond.

The program aims to cultivate confident, competent female leaders at the highest level of leadership.
